Since making her film debut opposite Elle Fanning in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Palme d’Or contender, Neon Demon, Frances has availed herself of every opportunity to expand her range and horizons. She has played stage roles ranging from the clever, iambic fool, Feste, in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to a fully improvised mutant camp counselor in the immersive theater tour of The Great Horror Campout, and has appeared on ABC’s Happy Endings, HBO’s Hello Ladies, and CBS’s NCIS LA. Frances played Bond girl Genevieve Fox in the mobile game James Bond: World of Espionage, and was also hired by Epic Games to tour as the live “embodiment” of Fortnite’s Dark Bomber.

As a former ballerina, Frances spent her childhood training in classical ballet. She began performing at an early age, dancing in productions of Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, and the Moscow Ballet’s Nutcracker. Her lanky frame and alluring, freckled features eventually caught the eye of fashion photographers, launching an international modeling career with credits including Vogue Italia and Runway Magazine.

A curious intellectual, Frances excelled academically and attended preparatory boarding school in upstate New York, where she became a prefect. She graduated as valedictorian with several accolades, including the Dudley Cup, an honor awarded to the student with the highest grades in the whole school, and the Arista Cup, awarded for “exemplifying characteristics of a lady within the school community.”

Her zeal for learning continued at William Smith College in upstate New York, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the United States’ oldest academic honor society. Despite her slender dancer’s physique, Frances joined the crew team, and worked hard to become a medaled starboard rower, earning the Crew Coach’s Award and distinction as a National Scholar-Athlete. Frances also studied abroad at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa for her Critical Social Studies major. Interested in the correlation between theory (social, political, religious) and daily life on both individual and societal scales, she studied at the previously-labeled “coloured” university to receive an authentic perspective on the progress of the country coming out of apartheid.

This industrious drive to transcend expectations also extends to Frances’ work behind the camera. She directed a cast of over 75 actors in the first-ever New York Haunted Hayride and became a Creative Team Associate for Ten Thirty One Productions, helping design live horror experiences including the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. Frances has gone on to produce, manage, build and direct numerous immersive entertainment experiences with Meyer2Meyer Entertainment, including House of Spirits: A Haunted Cocktail Soiree, which opened in seven cities across the US in 2023.

Frances’ lifelong fascination with philosophy, the supernatural, and horror was cultivated in an intellectually stimulating environment where her father, an Episcopal priest, and her mother, a French teacher and church organist, frequently encouraged metaphysical discourse. During childhood, Frances moved several times, attending nine schools over twelve years. Her fantastical imagination and spiritual contemplations were her only constant companions – an experience that serves her well today in her creative endeavors. A multi-hyphenate force, Frances ignites her singular voice in every artistic avenue, exploring the depths of her imagination and forging a path unlike any other.
